- Introduction
The website yndeinteriors.com.au (the “website”) is owned and operated by 23 Pty Ltd (ABN 73 626 794 321) T/A Ynde “we”, “our”, “us” or the “Company”) The Company includes representatives, subsidiaries, affiliates, related parties, officers, directors, employees, agents, independent contractors, advertisers, partners and co-branders.
In any event, these Terms and Conditions govern the supply of any product ordered by you on the website. By ordering a product, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
In these Terms and Conditions:
- “Customer” means the individual who places an Order on the website
- “You” means the Customer who places an Order
- “Product(s)” means the supplier’s products to be sold to Customers via the website in accordance with this agreement
- “Account” means the account that you will need to register in order to submit an Order
- “Courier Company” means entity transferring the product(s) purchased by you, from our warehouse to your delivery address.
- “Acknowledgement” means our confirmation of your Order (typically sent by email)
- “Business Day” means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, bank holiday or public holiday in New South Wales
These Terms and Conditions are our copyrighted intellectual property. Use by third parties – even of extracts – for the commercial purposes of offering goods and/or services – is not permitted. Infringements may be subject to legal action.
- Registration, Order and Cancellation
When making an order, you must be over 18 years of age, possess a valid credit or debit card and register for an account on the website. To place the order you should follow the given instructions.
Irrespective of any previous price you have seen or heard, once you select a Product that you wish to order, you will then be shown or told (on the website) the charges you must pay including GST, if applicable, and any applicable delivery charges. Unless otherwise stipulated on the website, all charges are in the currency then in force in Australia.
You shall pay for the Product in full when placing the order by supplying us with your credit or debit card details or by Paypal. Alternatively, you may pay by any method that we have said is acceptable to us. In any event, we shall not be bound to accept the order before we have received the funds in full.
You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing the Product from us will be correct, that the credit or debit card, or account or other payment method which you use is your own and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the Product. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your payment details before providing you with the Product.
When you submit an Order to the website, you agree that you do so subject to the prevailing Terms and Conditions.
We shall not be obliged to supply the Product to you until we have accepted your Order. We will send you an Acknowledgement with your Order reference number and details of the Product you have ordered. Ynde reserves the right to decline any order, for any reason (e.g., unavailability of supplies). In this case, we will promptly grant you a store credit or a full refund.
Ynde works closely with its suppliers to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate. In the unlikely event that the price of your order changes before we accept your order, we will contact you and ask you to confirm that you wish to proceed at the amended price.
- Shipping/ Delivery
Ynde delivers furniture and interior products available from our online furniture store to customers all around Australia.
We use a number of reputable carriers depending on the customer’s location which can offer the best service, care and price for our customers. All items are shipped from our warehouse in Jamisontown, NSW. We also offer free pickup by appointment from this location.
Flat Rate shipping is applicable to a number of small and medium sized items while for large furniture items shipping costs are automatically calculated and quoted upon entering your address on the checkout page of the website and is based on your location, weight and dimensions of the items.
Please note P.O. Boxes are not accepted as delivery addresses. Kindly provide a physical address for delivery. It is possible to track your order using the courier company’s online tracking system.
Please allow up to 2 business days for processing the order and dispatch of items from our warehouse (excludes Pre-Order items).

Upon dispatch of order from our warehouse you will receive an email with a consignment number which can be tracked online.
You are responsible for ensuring there is adequate access and entry to the site to allow the delivery of the products.
Upon agreement and payment of the freight charges, the Customer:
i) authorises Ynde to appoint a Courier Company on their behalf to complete the delivery
ii) agrees to all terms and conditions of the individual Courier Company
iii) accepts the Courier Company’s Authority To Leave (ATL) items unattended at the delivery address.
iv) agrees that once your order has left our warehouse, Ynde will not be responsible for any delay in delivery time, lost or damaged deliveries, as a result in the handling of these orders with the Courier Company.
If Ynde is unable to source or deliver the Goods as ordered by you, Ynde may cancel your order and provide you with a refund. Subject always to this Agreement, Ynde takes no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever in relation to orders that have been cancelled by us.

- Returns & Refunds
Our products are hand crafted and in many cases are one off and/or antique pieces.
As such, no two items are ever identical and some have imperfections. If an item is deemed to be unsuitable, too big or too small we will not refund the monetary value of the goods. If the goods are unfit for sale, a refund or exchange may be offered at the discretion of Ynde management.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the Goods being returned appear to have been damaged due to improper use. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Our 14 Day Return Policy
Ynde’s 14 day return policy covers all non-commercial purchases made through the Ynde website. The 14 day return period will commence from the date you receive the goods. If a refund is requested in writing to info@ynde.com.au within this 14 day period and is applicable to the order, Ynde will refund the purchase price of the goods and your account should be credited within 10 working days of the goods arriving back to us in the original condition they were received. Your refund will not include return delivery charges from shipping charges. Goods must also be returned in their original packaging.

It is a requirement that shipping information such as tracking number, or details of expected delivery are provided by the Customer to us in order to ensure delivery can be accepted at the above address. You the customer are responsible to ensure that returned items are packaged and returned safely. Ynde takes no responsibility for loss Goods and the the Customer will be solely liable for the shipment cost of the return.
- Warranty claims
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The Australian Consumer Law (“Law”) which forms part of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) is relevant with certain statutory conditions and warranties in our consumer contracts, which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. These are in addition to any voluntary warranties offered by the manufacturer or supplier. Where there is a breach of such a warranty relating to goods or services, and the breach is in terms of the Australian Consumer Law, a “major” failure, then the remedy will be limited to a refund or a replacement of your preference. In all other cases, a breach of such warranty will give rise to a refund or replacement at our preference.

- Credit Card Fraud, Protection and Prevention
When you place an Order on Ynde, by either a Credit Card or PayPal, you may be sent an email from our Fraud Team requesting further information to confirm the identity of the card holder, such as a copy of your credit card and drivers license. This is to ensure a safe and reliable shopping experience and to protect you against fraud.
When Ynde requests further information to confirm the identity of the cardholder, your order will be placed in pending status and will remain pending until your order has passed our Fraud Team’s internal checks. If you do not provide the required information, your order will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded back to the original payment method. These information requests are sent to help protect credit card and paypal account holders from online fraud. Ynde may take further action against customers identified to be making fraudulent transactions.
- General
No failure or delay by us or you in exercising any right under these Terms and Conditions or a Contract shall operate as a waiver of such right or extend to or affect any other or subsequent event or impair any rights or remedies in respect of it or in any way modify or diminish our or your rights under these Terms and Conditions or a Contract.
If any clause in these Terms and Conditions or a Contract shall become or shall be declared by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall in no way affect any other clause or part of any clause, all of which shall remain in full force and effect, so long as these Terms and Conditions or a Contract shall be capable of continuing in effect without the unenforceable term.
These Terms and Conditions and a Contract (and all non-contractual obligations arising out of or connected to them) shall be governed and construed in accordance with Australian Law. Both we and you hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian Courts.
- Amendment
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. All amendments to these Terms and Conditions will be posted online. However, continued use of the website will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
- Pre-Order
If your purchase includes a Pre-Order item, Pre-Order Terms will apply in addition to the applicable terms on this page.
